The Phipps Hall

Also known as the Phipps Institute, the hall was built in 1903 with funding from Henry Phipps, American philanthropist and business partner of Andrew Carnegie.
Today it houses
  • the local library and 2 performance spaces

string quartet, piano and bass, the aim of the group is to break down barriers – by mixing genres, by playing outside the concert hall, by being less stuffy, by building bridges between different musical traditions and between different art forms.
